1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to every service, purchase, and website visit you make with Pet District. When you book a service, drop off your pet, buy a product, or use petdistrict.care, you agree to these Terms. You also agree to any service agreement or waiver you sign through our booking system.
"Pet District," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Pet District, LLC, which operates two locations:
Patterson: 1504 Main St, Patterson, LA 70392
Thibodaux: 1102 LA-3185, Thibodaux, LA 70301
"You" means the pet owner, or the person authorized to act for the pet owner. Booking a service means you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have authority to make decisions about the pet's care.
2. Services and Service Policies
Pet District offers services including dog grooming, cat grooming, boarding, Doggie DayCamp, grooming subscriptions, and retail products.
Each service has its own policy, and each one is part of these Terms. Please read the policy for your service before you book:
The service policies cover vaccination and health requirements, evaluations, business hours, drop-off and pickup, cancellations, deposits, holidays, and service fees. They apply at both locations unless a policy says otherwise. If a service policy conflicts with these Terms, the service policy controls for that service, and these Terms control for everything else.
3. Booking and Pickup
Booking. Both locations use the same online booking link. Be sure to select the location you want when you book, because each reservation applies only to the location chosen. You can also book by calling (985) 412-6152. A reservation isn't confirmed until we send you a confirmation.
Cancellations, deposits, and pickup times. Each service policy sets its own cancellation windows, deposits, holiday rules, business hours, and late-pickup or after-hours fees. Outstanding fees must be paid before you book again.
Authorized pickup. We release your pet only to you or to someone you have named on your account. We may ask for photo ID.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices vary by location, and Patterson and Thibodaux each have their own rates. The price that applies is the one in effect at the location you booked when your service is confirmed.
Payment for all services is due when you pick up your pet. You may keep a card on file for faster checkout. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards.
A pet may need extra care, such as special handling, flea treatment, or cleanup after a medical issue. We will charge for that care at our posted rates. Returned payments may carry additional fees.
5. Pet Safety, Veterinary Care, and Liability
Inherent risks. Even with careful supervision, group play and boarding carry some risk. That includes scrapes, minor bites, soreness, stress, digestive upset, and contagious illnesses such as kennel cough, which can spread even among vaccinated pets. By using our services, you accept these risks.
Emergency care. If your pet becomes ill or injured, we will try to reach you and your emergency contact. If we can't reach anyone, or if the situation is urgent, you authorize us to get care from your veterinarian on file or the nearest available clinic. You agree to pay for all veterinary costs and any transport this requires.
Owner responsibility. You are responsible for any damage or injury your pet causes to people, other pets, or property. That includes the costs of treating another pet your pet injures. You agree to give us accurate, complete information about your pet's health and behavior.
Limitation of liability. To the extent Louisiana law allows, Pet District's liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved. We are not liable for conditions caused by your pet's age, health, or temperament. We are also not liable for items you leave with your pet, such as collars, toys, bedding, and food. This section does not limit our liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
6. Communications, Photos, and Website Use
Text messages and email. When you give us your phone number or email, you agree that we can contact you about reservations, your pet's care, and account matters. With your consent, we may also send promotional texts and emails. Promotional texts are recurring and automated. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. To stop texts, reply STOP; for help, reply HELP. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email. Consent is not required to buy any service.
Photos and video. We may take photos and videos of pets in our care. We use them for updates to you and on our website and social media channels. If you don't want your pet featured publicly, tell us in writing.
Website. The content on petdistrict.care, including text, photos, videos, and logos, belongs to Pet District or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without permission. We work to keep website information accurate, but prices, hours, and services may change. Some links lead to third-party sites, including our online booking system, and those sites are governed by their own terms. For how we handle your personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Governing Law, Changes, and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Louisiana. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If you keep using our services after an update, you accept the new Terms.
